Dear valued clients,
Our business is continuing to operate as we navigate the current COVID-19 situation, and we are adapting our operations by practicing social distancing, and reiterating the practices of good hygiene, like frequent hand washing, providing hand sanitizer and gloves for the moving crews. We are also offering virtual onsites for current/ future clients during the current situation. We will do our best to keep our current clientele informed of any changes to current/ future moves.

As our client, your safety and health is our #1 priority during this state of emergency. Please consider the following guidelines to prepare for your move with us:

⚠ADVICE FOR CLIENTS REGARDING SETTING UP CONDITIONS FOR A MOVE: • Upon our arrival, please have your residence/ office/ items as ready as possible (cleaned/ sanitized and ventilated in advance) for the removal of your items. • It is recommended that you/ your representatives will keep, at a minimum, 6 feet of distance from our crew. Our crew members will keep, at a minimum, 6 feet of distance or more at the time of service. • You will assure continuous ventilation of the spaces we work in at all times. • Please provide dedicated bathroom(s), equipped with soap and paper towels for our crew members.

⚠LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES OF MOVING COMPANIES AND THEIR RIGHT TO CANCEL WORK (NATIONAL LOCAL MOVES): The Government has stated it is or will be implementing (as yet) measures to combat the spread of the virus. Such measures in place might impact our ability to provide services to you (including but not limited for us having to suspend or cancel in full the services) or the virus otherwise affects our ability to fulfill your relocation. This may place us in a position where we will not be able to accept any ability for any losses that may arise and we limit our liability accordingly. We are keeping the matter under careful review and will ensure that all customers are advised of any developments that may affect fulfillment of contracted services.

As our team at Homegrown Moving Company has been following updates, we are choosing to work with & adhere to the guidelines set forth by health officials and authorities. We want to do our part in mitigating the impact and spread of COVID-19 to the businesses and communities we serve, and we are implementing the following strategies to do so:

We have discussed with our team members what to do in the scenario that anyone is experiencing symptoms or may have been exposed to the virus. We have an understanding among ourselves to be transparent if somebody's not feeling good or may have been exposed. We understand the need to self quarantine for the proper amount of time, if this occurs, to avoid any further spread. In turn, we ask the same from our customers. In the event that you are feeling sick or may have been exposed, we are happy to make arrangements for another move date.

Use of examination gloves: Our teams will wear examination gloves while servicing moves as an additional hygiene measure and self protection. Gloves will be discarded after each move.

Due to the high demand of masks, we are unable to provide them at the moment, but if you would like masks to be provided for your move, please provide them and we can use them.

Our team will also have hand sanitizer, and we ask that they are allowed to use a sink or water source to wash their hands when available. Social distancing: Upon arrival to our customers' homes or offices, team members will follow the protocol of social distancing, allowing 6' between team members and you, our customer. We have always valued the professionalism and respect that accompany an introductory handshake, however during the COVID-19 outbreak, we ask that our customers understand for safety purposes that we will refrain from shaking hands or making physical contact.

Proper ventilation: In move settings when available, we request that our customers open outside doors and/or windows to increase air circulation. All of the above will be effective immediately and remain in place until April 20th, until we can reassess the situation and make further announcements. We strive to continue to practice CDC/ Federal / State/ WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines for health and safety to prevent contagion in our community.

Thank you, Homegrown Moving

Business opportunities in Denver

Ever since the ancient days, it is known that those who seek things in unexpected places, in places no other would look, will find wonderful treasures. That the ideas, birthed from thinking outside the box, sometimes strike gold and change the world. The lesson is, therefore, clear. Sometimes, to succeed in the world of business. To win in the great economic competition of our country you have to go past the headlines, look further than the others… and one way to do that is to look at business opportunities in Denver.

But why? Denver is not an unknown city, right? It is not a wild west of economic riches ready to be tamed and claimed? Well, no, you are absolutely right, it is not… but.

What Denver most certainly is, is the biggest city in the 800-mile radius. It is a stopping point between the east and the west of our great country. And with this beautiful blessing of good location, Denver did wonders for its economy. But, even though all of this is true, it is often overlooked when business is discussed. The silicon valley, Manhattan, LA, Chicago… No spotlight shines on Denver. We are here to change that for you, lucky reader. Be ready to meet the world of opportunity.

Some basic information about Denver

Before moving on, and before long-distance or local movers Denver relocated, you should get aquatinted with your new place of living/working. So, what is Denver, Colorado? Well, it has a nickname. For its friends, Denver is known as a Mile High City, because its elevation is exactly 5280 feet above sea level. However, Denver’s location is a lot more interesting for numerous reasons. For example, downtown Denver is only 12 miles away from monumental and resources-rich Rocky Mountains. There is also another nickname for the city. Wallstreet of the West. We thought you would like that one. The city itself boasts around 700 000 people, but almost three million are to be found in the Denver Metro area, with 2.3 million of those living in the urban area.

Culture and Education

What about the people who live there? While hearing that there are millions of people is good for any market, what does this mean for you in particular? What kind of people will you meed once the packing services Denver CO finish their work and you organize a housewarming party for the neighbors?

Culture
Having an educated workforce means that there will be a lot of young people capable of critical thinking with a lot of good business and startup ideas.

Well, Denver consistently scores around the first place in the livability index. This is because of its smart and beautiful architecture and parks, as well as good healthcare and education systems. It is that education that provides Denver with an ever more skillful workforce for its growing market.

Transportation

Denver is not the most walkable city on earth (though it stills proves adequate), but while using moving services Denver you will find that there are many bike lanes and good infrastructure. This is to be expected. After all, as we will cover in more detail later, Denver is something of a transport hub.

Denver Transportation
Denver is the center of transportation from the Western coast to the Eastern one and the other way around.

Anyways, get on your bike, train, car – whatever. Denver understands the importance of movement and will facilitate it as best as it can.

The business opportunities in Denver

Ah, we are finally here. The core of the question. Exactly what are the opportunities Denver offers? What are those things you won’t find anywhere else?

When the Denver movers move you to this fine location, you will find that there are three main carrier pats. First and foremost, there is the corporate sector. Denver is the city of choice for large amounts of media and other corporations. After all, it is the only big city for hundreds upon hundreds of miles. It is a giant of economic might in a generally silent Midwest, and many corporations heard its call.

The business opportunities in Denver
Bright skies are open over Denver – the opportunity for business is in the air!

But that is not all. If you are not a white-collar worker, that is fine too. Denver doesn’t live only of offices in skyscrapers (pretty as they are). Have you noticed that we mentioned that transportation is oh-so-important for the city? Well, that was true hundred years ago and it never became any less relevant.

Finally, mining and energy are huge here, with even greater untapped potential. With the Rocky Mountains just there – the goal is obvious!

Being smart about business partners

In this world, there are a lot of those who would want to scam you. This is also true in Denver, unfortunately. It has been proven that it is a universal problem. Therefore, we want to give you some sound advice.

  • First, before anything else, business is business. Don’t be swayed by friendly gestures and oral agreements. Always have everything on paper. In writing, black and white. It is the only way to be sure when exploiting business opportunities in Denver or anywhere else.
  • Always be in contact with licensed agents that will scout the market for you.
  • Only cooperate with those who have a proven track record with other businesses such as yours.

Follow this advice in Denver but also anywhere else when breaching new markets and industries, and you are set to reach your full business potential!

Final words

When it’s all summed up, it is obvious why one should seek abundant business opportunities in Denver. There is just business for anyone of every creed and guild.
