Dear valued clients,
Our business is continuing to operate as we navigate the current COVID-19 situation, and we are adapting our operations by practicing social distancing, and reiterating the practices of good hygiene, like frequent hand washing, providing hand sanitizer and gloves for the moving crews. We are also offering virtual onsites for current/ future clients during the current situation. We will do our best to keep our current clientele informed of any changes to current/ future moves.

As our client, your safety and health is our #1 priority during this state of emergency. Please consider the following guidelines to prepare for your move with us:

⚠ADVICE FOR CLIENTS REGARDING SETTING UP CONDITIONS FOR A MOVE: • Upon our arrival, please have your residence/ office/ items as ready as possible (cleaned/ sanitized and ventilated in advance) for the removal of your items. • It is recommended that you/ your representatives will keep, at a minimum, 6 feet of distance from our crew. Our crew members will keep, at a minimum, 6 feet of distance or more at the time of service. • You will assure continuous ventilation of the spaces we work in at all times. • Please provide dedicated bathroom(s), equipped with soap and paper towels for our crew members.

⚠LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES OF MOVING COMPANIES AND THEIR RIGHT TO CANCEL WORK (NATIONAL LOCAL MOVES): The Government has stated it is or will be implementing (as yet) measures to combat the spread of the virus. Such measures in place might impact our ability to provide services to you (including but not limited for us having to suspend or cancel in full the services) or the virus otherwise affects our ability to fulfill your relocation. This may place us in a position where we will not be able to accept any ability for any losses that may arise and we limit our liability accordingly. We are keeping the matter under careful review and will ensure that all customers are advised of any developments that may affect fulfillment of contracted services.

As our team at Homegrown Moving Company has been following updates, we are choosing to work with & adhere to the guidelines set forth by health officials and authorities. We want to do our part in mitigating the impact and spread of COVID-19 to the businesses and communities we serve, and we are implementing the following strategies to do so:

We have discussed with our team members what to do in the scenario that anyone is experiencing symptoms or may have been exposed to the virus. We have an understanding among ourselves to be transparent if somebody's not feeling good or may have been exposed. We understand the need to self quarantine for the proper amount of time, if this occurs, to avoid any further spread. In turn, we ask the same from our customers. In the event that you are feeling sick or may have been exposed, we are happy to make arrangements for another move date.

Use of examination gloves: Our teams will wear examination gloves while servicing moves as an additional hygiene measure and self protection. Gloves will be discarded after each move.

Due to the high demand of masks, we are unable to provide them at the moment, but if you would like masks to be provided for your move, please provide them and we can use them.

Our team will also have hand sanitizer, and we ask that they are allowed to use a sink or water source to wash their hands when available. Social distancing: Upon arrival to our customers' homes or offices, team members will follow the protocol of social distancing, allowing 6' between team members and you, our customer. We have always valued the professionalism and respect that accompany an introductory handshake, however during the COVID-19 outbreak, we ask that our customers understand for safety purposes that we will refrain from shaking hands or making physical contact.

Proper ventilation: In move settings when available, we request that our customers open outside doors and/or windows to increase air circulation. All of the above will be effective immediately and remain in place until April 20th, until we can reassess the situation and make further announcements. We strive to continue to practice CDC/ Federal / State/ WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines for health and safety to prevent contagion in our community.

Thank you, Homegrown Moving

How to find suitable living space in Cherry Hills Village

By considering whether or not to relocate and where to settle down, you’re going on an interesting journey (not to mention how you should even begin the search). It’s a freeing feeling to realize that you’re in charge of your own destiny. Consider these questions before you begin: Is this the kind of life I’m looking for? What am I trying to accomplish with my life? What steps can I take to get myself financially ready to achieve these goals? So, what does it mean to be part of a “community”? If you can’t figure it out for yourself, there is no personality test that can give you the answers you need, but we are here to help you ask some important questions about how you can find suitable living space in Cherry Hills Village. Full service moving companies Denver is always the first step on your journey.

How much can you afford to pay?

Before you start looking for your first apartment, figure out how much rent you can comfortably pay. Rent should account for 30% of your monthly income, according to a commonly accepted estimate. Experts dispute the exact percentage of your earnings that should go toward rent. The Department of Housing and Urban Development considers families that spend more than 30 percent of their income on rent to be “cost-burdened.” When figuring out how much you can afford to pay in rent, don’t forget to factor in other expenses, such as a mortgage or car payments, food, entertainment, and other necessities. Take a look at your entire budget before you start looking for an apartment. Keep in mind that you’ll need money for debt repayment and savings in addition to your rent and other necessities.

Cost of living

In addition to the price of a house, you should think about your overall cost of living, which includes things like food, entertainment, gym memberships, eating out, and so on. How much housing you can afford and where you wish to live are both heavily influenced by the local cost of living. You may be better off moving to a city with a high cost of living, like San Francisco or New York City, if you’re just starting off in your job. Living in a job center may not be as important to you as having extra money for travel, hobbies, or saving for your real estate investment ambitions. This is probably the first thing to find out about when trying to find suitable living space in Cherry Hills Village. Movers Cherry Hills Village CO will have some important advice regarding this.

Find a suitable area for you

You have to make a choice about where you want to live. You need to think about things like finding a region you like and that contains attractions and businesses that you like. In general, the more your transportation costs, the farther you have to travel to go to work. If you relocate farther from major cities, housing prices tend to drop, so this could be a trade-off. Living close to a public transportation route can help further reduce commuting costs by saving money on rent. This may be important to check out if you want to find suitable living space in Cherry Hills Village. Home movers Denver can be of great help when moving, so you might want to consider asking for their help.

Gather reference

When considering whether or not to rent an apartment to a prospective tenant, many landlords prioritize credit scores. As a first-time renter, you may not have a long credit history to fall back on, which is where references come into play. Good recommendations might help you acquire the apartment you desire. You won’t be allowed to use prior landlords as references, but you may be able to use your employer. Your supervisors and managers will be able to talk about your accountability and work performance. Hearing from a boss at work may further comfort your possible landlord that you will have a consistent wage to pay rent. If at all feasible, request that your references write letters ahead of time. That way, you’ll have them ready to go for any application. While you do that don’t forget to check on the Better Business Bureau before hiring any moving company.

Is the climate appropriate for you?

You can narrow down your search by asking a few important questions about your climate preferences. Do you like the clamor of a bustling city or the serenity of the outdoors? Do you like mild weather all year round, or do you prefer six months of winter and sweaters? Want to be able to go hiking in the evenings yet like to go surfing in the mornings? Elevation should also be considered. Are you moving to a city in the mountains? Ask your neighbors or a real estate agent about the area’s flood risk, and make sure you’re covered by your house insurance in the event of an emergency. You can even move for a time to see if you like it, apartment movers Denver can help with that.

Check out a couple of properties first

Once you’ve narrowed your search down to one or two areas, you can begin the process of finding a new place to call home. Take a look online and in the local newspaper for information. Look into the property management services offered by a few businesses. Limit yourself to a maximum of five properties at a time as you begin to tour properties with property managers. If you don’t take a break from all the planning and outings, you’ll be exhausted. Worse, you’ll forget which of the residences had the best amenities because they’ll all look the same. Take pictures of the properties’ exteriors and interiors to help you remember them. While you check out the properties, packing services Denver CO can already be packing your stuff for the move, that way you can save a lot of time.

Check out the schools

School districts are an important factor to keep in mind while looking for a new home if you have children or plan to have children. Schools that are well-regarded in a community attract families who want to raise their children there. Affordability and community cohesion are two additional benefits that may result from high-quality public schools. Consult with other parents whose children attend nearby schools, talk to school staff and administrators, look up the school’s website, and arrange a visit if possible before making a decision on where to reside. This is important if you have children and want to find suitable living space in Cherry Hills Village.
